Self-moderating to stay factual and not mislead students. We give AI instructions to stay in character as a mentor, never drifting into unsafe or irrelevant topics.

AI’s role is to free humans to do what only humans can do: build relationships, exercise judgment, lead, imagine. We design our AI experiences to reinforce human strengths.

As a CTE Advisor, I watched FutureMe completely reshape how we do career exploration. It helped us grow from 49% to 94% pathway completers in just two years. But more importantly, it helped every student find a direction—and a sense of purpose—for their future.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to college or how that was even possible. I talked to Hope about what I liked and my situation. Hope helped me find two options and a path I didn't know existed and that had classes that I was actually interested in.
I had a student who went into FutureMe convinced they knew what they wanted to do after high school only to have their interests broadened and their eyes opened to more opportunities they hadn't thought of before.
FutureMe has allowed our students in Flint to explore career pathways many of them have only dreamt about. FutureMe has given them an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers about their future, possible interests and employment. Real life and real time conversations opened the door to more questions and curiosity.
FutureMe helped me find certifications and high-value credentials for good employment. I could match [community college] programs I found in Arizona back to FutureMe to find out: do these schools lead to the best employment opportunities? And find out how long it would take me to get where I want to be.

Partnered with the Gates Foundation to launch the National Teacher Fellowships
In 2001, on South Hope Street in Los Angeles, CA, a group of entrepreneurs, business leaders and technology professionals were concerned about the future of the middle class and economic opportunity in the US. With most of the GDP growth gains going to the top 10%, they believed this threatened the fabric of our society and that we needed new solutions to renovate our social systems for the 21st Century. This group formed Hope Street Group in 2003 to address these problems.
