- Biography:
- Hans Riemer runs advocacy campaigns for AARP, where he focuses on retirement security issues. Previously, Hans was the National Youth Vote Director for Obama for America, where he focused on mobilizing young voters in Iowa and also on building a 50 state grassroots organization. Before the Obama campaign, Hans was the Political and Issues Director for Rock the Vote. Hans also has a long track record as a campaigner to protect Social Security, including playing a key role in defeating the Bush Administration's agenda for privatization of Social Security. Hans lives with his wife Angela in Silver Spring, Maryland, where they are active in local politics.
