Shannon Clark is an experienced developer and consultant, with extensive configuration management and Internet experience. His research has led to innovative applications of Information Extraction techniques employing Artificial Intelligence. He has developed and implemented best practices for Configuration Management and build/release management. His clients have included such firms as CapitalOne, UBS Warburg Dillon Reed, IBM, other Fortune 500 companies, large government agencies, and many others. He is the founder of MeshForum, an annual non-profit conference on Networks and the founder of JigZaw Inc, a software and consulting firm.

Shannon has also been an Internet user since before the wide recognition it has gained today, managing his first multi-user system (with users from Asia, Europe, and Canada throughout the USA) in early 1991. He is an expert in many programming languages, operating systems, and industry best practices. He is also a past editor of standards for the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and is an active member of many Internet and technology communities.
