Courtney Haynes

Courtney joined Hope Street Group in June 2007 and is based in Washington, DC. Her fellowship involves an array of duties including policy team development, event coordination, outreach, membership development, and staff/board support.

Courtney completed her Masters from the George Washington University School of Public Policy and Administration in May of 2007 and received her B.A. in Planning and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech in 2005. She has had previous experience in communication facilitation, event planning, and fundraising and development via the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children and the Association for Conflict Resolution. Courtney is primarily interested in exploring innovative and collaborative solutions to policy development and is actively involved in numerous volunteer organizations around the city.
