Local Chapters

Hope Street Group members work with local political, business, and civic leaders on opportunity-expanding projects in their cities. We help local chapter members convene policymakers, practitioners, and the business community at Opportunity Exchange dinners to discuss local economic opportunity issues affecting the region.  Our current work includes an effort to connect low-income Angelenos with green workforce development efforts in Los Angeles. In 2008-09, we intend to expand our Local Chapter efforts to Denver, NYC, DC, San Francisco, and Austin.

Interested in joining a local chapter? Hope Street Group is a volunteer-driven organization with many opportunities for members to play significant roles in changing public policy including policy development, implementation, event planning, and outreach efforts.
