Senior Policy Analyst - Health Care
About Us
Hope Street Group is a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for all Americans. Our approach is simple: bring new voices to the public policy debate in innovative ways in order to develop solutions to pressing national problems.
Our Economic Opportunity Index illustrates that health accounts for more than 25% of the variation in economic opportunity in America. In times of fiscal uncertainty improving health quality outcomes is essential to keeping the American workforce healthy, productive, and globally competitive. Over the past 18 months, we have convened six Bipartisan Working Group forums aimed at developing evidence-based, practical solutions for health care reform. Hope Street Group facilitated these sessions by providing a safe-space for the most significant health care stakeholders to develop consensus on
core principles, titled the Health Care Agenda for an Opportunity Economy.
Hope Street Group has launched the first health care project of its kind, an eight-week initiative that brings together health care practitioners, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and members of the academic and research community to develop health care policies. Together, we are
reinventing primary care to address resource shortages, reduce system-wide health care costs, and ensure that Americans have access to the quality health services they need most. Utilizing our customized online platform at www.hopestreetgroup.org, Hope Street Group is driving research-based
recommendations - designed to lead real change - that will be presented to federal and state level policy-makers, industry, and the larger health care reform community.
