Dina Rock has been teaching for 23 years, with a focus on maximizing the potential of the whole child by creating a nurturing and engaging environment. She also mentors graduate students pursuing a degree in education. Dina has designed curriculum for school districts including the Los Angeles Unified School District and worked as an educational consultant for the Disney Corporation, where she designed teaching guides to accompany educational movies produced by Disney. Dina led one of the teams of teachers that in 2009 developed a set of recommendations by teachers for teacher evaluation reform that has been driving Hope Street Group’s work in this area. She holds a BS in Early Childhood Education from Ohio State University and an MA in Education from John Carroll University.
