Dmitri Mehlhorn
Dmitri joined the Board in 2006, is a co-founder, and has worked as the Director of Outreach to engage local communities and organizations across the nation on policy issues. His focus is on national and Virginia-based outreach on education and corporate taxation issues.
Dmitri is Managing Director of Business Development at Gerson Lehrman Group, a leading provider of systems to manage expert networks. Dmitri reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for business development, strategy, and sales to new markets.
Previously, Dmitri practiced US and European antitrust law as Counsel with O'Melveny & Myers, a preeminent global law firm. At O'Melveny, Dmitri also served as Director of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the firm's Executive Committee during a period of substantial growth and profitability improvements for the firm.
Dmitri started his career at McKinsey & Company in Los Angeles, where he was an Engagement Manager focused on operational improvement and turnaround engagements.
Dmitri is a graduate of Stanford University, Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and Yale Law School. He has published articles on legal issues involving economics and technology.
