Hope Street Group represents a new generation dedicated to creating opportunity for all Americans through business, civic, and political leadership. We are a non-profit that engages policymakers in both parties and across government, business, and civil society to resolve some of our nation's most pressing issues. We promote economic opportunity and prosperity through "Opportunity Economics" - practical public policy solutions that aim to give all Americans the chance to obtain a decent education and fair access to markets for jobs, homes, and assets.

Our staff and committed network of professional volunteers bring a distinct entrepreneurial and impact-driven approach to policy development. We use our time and expertise to directly assist local and national leaders with the implementation of innovative policies. We work with presidential candidates and their staff, shaping the debate of opportunity in the 2008 Presidential Election, and delivering sustainable policies. Since our scope is both national and multi-local, and Hope Street Group is a geographically disperse movement, we use virtual technology and an open source philosophy to collaborate with a diverse networks and partnerships.
